A repost of one of my longer videos from 2 years ago now in MP3 Podcast form. In this one I offer my thoughts on Super Bowl 50 between the Denver Broncos and the Carolina Panthers and more.
I riff on some commercials from the Golden Age of Television.
Note: I originally had this video up on YouTube but I ended up getting a copyright claim on it. However, I was unsuccessful in disputing it so I ended up taking the video down.
Before I upload Episode 7, here is my second annual Super Bowl vlog where I talk about Super Bowl 50, commercials and more.
After careful consideration, I decided to break down the segments from my hour-long series into separate videos for easier viewing and you’ll be seeing more of them during the week. First up: My thoughts on this year’s Super Bowl, Katy Perry’s half-time show and the rather depressing crop of commercials that came out this year.
Tomorrow I plan to upload an all-new movie review.
Throughout the last few months that I have been watching YouTube, I have come across some really funny, sometimes sexy, and just plain really great videos. Since I don’t have the technological means to make videos to post on there, I am considering that as a possible career move. I have heard that quite a few people have posted some videos that actually resulted in them becoming movie and TV stars. Forget going on “Survivor” or any of those shows. All you need is a video or digital camera, Internet access, and a dream.
Among my favorite videos on YouTube are basically cat videos. There are two series on YouTube that I love very much. One show is called “The Cat Diaries” and that is about two cats that are growing up from kittenhood up. That show is just so cute and I even like the opening credits before every episode. There’s also the show, “Mean Kitty.” I really love that one. It’s about this cat that likes to eat hands and get into all kinds of mischief.
In addition to cat videos, I have come across some really good music videos; some old commercials, including the first-ever Ronald McDonald commercials from the 60’s in which Ronald actually looked like a very creepy guy; and a racy perfume ad featuring Diddy. Some of these videos actually have given me some ideas as to the videos that I want to do once I obtain the ability to make videos and put them online.
There is one video that I actually consider to be my favorite video on YouTube (and it is the first video on the playlist) is a video called “Killer Cats” and it is basically a slideshow that contains funny pictures of cats with guns and other things and set to heavy metal music. It is actually a really funny video, and I simply cannot get enough of it.
Yep, you find lots of stuff on YouTube and I should seriously consider that the latest step in my evolution as a full-fledged Internet personality. It’s something for the future.
