The first installment of a new series of my videos where I read my fictional short stories as they are posted on my writing website Tales of the Blackcat. First up: A short story about how a social media-obsessed guy wakes up one morning and finds out that he is a stranger in his own town.
I just added this five-shot compilation that I did for my Applied Media Aesthetics class in the Fall 2012 semester at Herkimer College to my Google-Plus channel.

This post will be dedicated to showing off my two Creative Video Techniques projects that I finished last semester at Herkimer College. Both were completely edited with Avid Editing Software, the same editing software used for movies and TV shows. Probably as soon as I get my new laptop which will be closer to the start of next semester in August.
The first video that is posted above is a video I did where I had to do a 30-second commercial for a fake product and I chose to do one on a product called the App Buster 2000 and its purpose was supposed to be that it would be used to block annoying Facebook app requests.
Hello, everyone. Here is the latest installment of Q & A where I answer yet some more questions that I have been asked on the web. I start off the segment with questions I have been asked on my Formspring account.
Q:What’s your favorite Sci-Fi movie?
A: The Star Wars movies.
Q: What celebrity would you most like to meet in person?
A: Any of ’em would be fine.
Q: Would you rather have the ability to fly or the ability to breathe underwater?
A: Can’t I have both? lol
Q: What was the most interesting place you’ve traveled to?
A: Puerto Rico during spring break of my junior year at Red Hook High School back in the 1995-96 school year. It’s hard to believe that as of this April it will have been 15 years since I made that trip.
Q: Who’s the most beautiful person you know?
A: Not sure, but then again, it’s probably not a good idea to name names in a video in case someone decides to gripe about being mentioned in a YouTube video.
Q: Who’s your favorite musician?
A: Elvis Presley, the King of Rock ‘n’ Roll.
Q: What are you most excited about right now?
A: Right now, excited that I’m doing the new season of The Adventures of Blackcatloner.
Q: Do you like it when it snows?
A: Since I live in NY, I would have to say no.
Q: Who do you text message with the most?
A: I don’t really text anyone.
And now on to the Myyearbook questions:
Q: What’s your favorite color?
Q: If I said you had to live without your phone for a week, could you do it?
A: I currently am living without my phone. Haven’t had it since November, but I am in the process of getting another one probably in the next week or two.
Q: If you could have either true love, long life, or a super human ability, which would you choose?
A: Probably long life and superhuman ability because true love doesn’t exist.
Q: Who is your hero?
Q: What did you eat for breakfast today?
A: Cereal, even though at the time I answered that question, I had a cinnamon bun at Empire Diner.
Q: What’s the hardest thing you’ve ever worked for?
A: My independence.
And to close this latest Q & A segment out, I figured I’d throw in this question that I came across on Twitter that was asked by local tweeter Thomas Armitage, who is a reporter for the Utica Observer-Dispatch, one of the local newspapers in my neck of the woods.
Q: Who would win in a fight, ninjas or green berets?
A: It all depends on the playing field. In close quarters, the ninjas would win, but out in the open, the berets would win because they have guns, tanks, jets, snipers, etc.
That question was pretty much similar to a question that was asked to AngryAussie in a video a couple of years ago, except that the battle was between pirates and ninjas. However the answer is still the same. And there you go, another Q & A completed. If you want to participate and don’t have a Formspring account, you can always ask in the comment section below.
Here we are. I am now heading into week 2 of my vacation from work. And so far things have been uneventful, except for the fact that the weather over the weekend has been really beautiful. So beautiful that I finally managed to go outside and see some of the beautiful fall scenery that Central New York is famous for. I even managed to film some footage for the new episode of The Adventures of Blackcatloner this week on blip.tv.
Sunday afternoon (which was known as 10/10/10), I managed to hike on a trail alongside the Erie Canal on the Mohawk side of the canal. The trail actually starts at the old Fort Herkimer Church and goes all the way to the Movac Ambulance Dispatch Center in Mohawk near the canal bridge. I saw people attempting to draw hearts on the gravel portion of the trail and I saw a canal tour boat go by. One of the things I wanted to do ever since I started doing YouTube videos was to go on a boat ride on the Erie Canal to film a video. However just like the previous years, things fell through and I ended up not going. Hopefully next summer, I will be able to follow through on that.
